Road flooding - no drainage

This area of Station road has a large amount of standing water. The road slops down to this point so after a rainfall the water naturally converges at this point. Traffic has to slow down or the water sprays onto the pavement and new dwellings that are being constructed a drain is required.

    The problem has not been fixed and the situation is the same, could a drain cover with more openings be fitted instead of the cover in the photograph ? Every time a car goes by water is sprayed onto my property
