Pavement 19 Pelham Close
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 424500.
As part of on going contractor remedial works, pavement resurfacing work has failed to reinstate concrete edging creating a trip hazard over 10cm deep and 60cm wide. In numerous other locations as part of these on going works concrete edging has been replaced but not on this occasion !

The problem is NOT fixed the hole is filled with soil to prevent an incident occurring ! The concrete edging to the pavement has not been repaired or replaced, Your inspector visited this morning 25/05/2021 he did not attempt to inspect the hole, he did not attempt to make contact with myself despite being in at the property. I do not consider the hole being filled with soil as an acceptable solution as I can not reinstate the lawn as required as this will then expose the hole creating a trip hazard !

Why should I accept a lesser standard of repair than the owners of properties on Ellison Close or Holme Drive who have had their damaged or missing concrete edging replaced, some of whom have had 10m or more replaced !!!!

Still awaiting a satisfactory repair or replacement of the pavement edge plinths, there are numerous properties near by all of whom have had the edging replaced. Why should I be expected to accept a lesser standard than my neighbours?

I still have not received any response to my last request on the 11/06/2022 chasing a response to my request on the 25/05/2022 !! Many of my neighbours have had effective repairs or replacement of pavement edging why should I accept a lesser standard ?
