Kerbside Damage, Montagu Road, Canwick
Reported via iOS in the Damaged road edge, encroaches less than 100mm category anonymously at 16:00, Tuesday 24 May 2022
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 424924.
Due to use of Canwick as a cut-through for HGVs travelling from Canwick Hill to Heighington Road, there is increasing damage to the kerbside on the southbound carriageway. Could Highways check the site and consider extending the kerbstones all the way to the junction of Montagu Road and Heighington Road? Alternatively, the mature trees on the opposite side of Montagu Road overhang quite spectacularly and provide a beautiful street scene, however, this may mean that high sided vehicles are forced towards the kerb as they approach the junction. Highways’ opinion on this would be welcomed.
