A very ornate very old gas type lantern (original) mounted on a corner bracket on the corner of No. 15 Minster Yard, on the corner of Greestone Place.Ln2

Reported via desktop in the Street light category anonymously at 15:35, Mon 27 June 2022

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 426845.

This very old gas type lantern (converted to electric with 70 watt SON lamp by the look of it is in a very corroded, dirty and dangerous condition. The glass is broken and half of one side is missing! It appears that it may not have been maintained for years. Other lanterns in this historic area have been replaced by new "Windsor" type lanterns. Nedds urgent attention by the look of it. I have been a Street Lighting Engineer for many years.
