Double yellow lines extended

Reported via mobile in the Road Markings category anonymously at 17:50, Monday 27 June 2022

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 426852.

3 times in the last week I have had to turn around outside a busy school at pick up time because people have parked inconsiderately and effectively blocked the road. It is dangerous having to reverse towards the school gates with children around. It’s usually different cars parked there, not the same vehicles, so I believe this would be best addressed by extending the double yellow lines on one or both sides of the road so there is plenty of room for cars and vans to get by. At present, neither car is illegally parked yet they still manage to make a narrow, awkward gap that is often difficult if not impossible to pass through. Thanks
