A1192 junction with tritton road/moorland av and sainsburys

Ok, so i frequent this route every morning around 5am heading from North Hykeham to Lincoln City Centre where i work and more often then not these lights are in favour of the traffic exit from Sainsburys and for long periods of time when (see attached photo taken today @ 4.58am 29/06/2022) clearly there is not much traffic about and most certainly NOT coming out of Sainsburys!!! Main arterial routes should be priority in my opinion. I've tried several actions like reversing and forward over the strips in the road to mimic more vehicles....got out my car and pressed the pedestrian signal crossing (in hope of activating the cycle)...and driving into Sainsburys and U -Turning back on to the A1192 Tritton Road but to no avail.....PLEASE can you look into this as frustrating as it is for me 5-10mins is critical in arriving for parking at my work.....

  • Have also noted that timing of lights at junction of moorland ave and tritton road - is not phased in time with the set governing the entrance and exit from Sainsbury
