The issue is a sunken and blocked drainage grid. When heavy vehicles hit the pothole you can feel the ground shake. After a few minutes of a heavy shower standing water forms in the grid and also opposite the entrance gate for Holly House as the roads dips slightly at the verge. When cars hit this standing water it shoots it down the driveway and causes flooding at the low point of the drive.
