East Street, Stamford between North Street Car Park and Conduit Road

Uneven footway all along East Street, particularly the north side. Uneven, loose stones/gravel. Plus, crossing Recreation Ground Road and Conduit Road is dangerous beacuse juntion is too open, cars come round corner very fast. This stretch is so bad I've seen people in mobility scooters on the road because they can't go along the footway. I have been aware of this a year, when I moved to the area.

We're sending you this message to let you know that we've assessed the footway condition and at this time it does not require urgent repair. However we have identified this location for a larger scale improvement scheme. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the County footway network and the resources available to us each year. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway in the meantime. Thank you for reporting this matter.
