Potholes on entirety of Wright's Lane, Friskney
Reported via mobile in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 19:03, Thu 4 August 2022
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 428881.
The entirety of Wright's Lane is in appalling condition. I have just spent £350 on my car's suspension & bushes due to the state of these roads. Keep closing roads in Friskney, meaning unsuitable vehicles using unsuitable roads, which are then left with potholes, missing chunks of road. This road has been bad for well over a year. Others have reported it and told "no further action"! Why? It's damaging our vehicles. It needs repairing. Enough money paid in cars road fund fee and council tax, so get the roads fixed please

I agree with the other reports. I had a look for myself, and Wright's lane is indeed in very poor condition. There are huge portions of the road surface missing, with big craters, which makes it a very uncomfortable experience. I do hope no-one has an accident, as it will cost Lincolnshire Highways dearly. Please fix it.

This decision is not acceptable in any way. I will be taking this up further with the Friskney Parrish council.

Coming to take a look at it is so different to using it every day. Have to swerve to avoid the potholes. It's a single lane road. Highways do not cover our garage bills that have repairs required due to rubbish roads. Maybe you'd like my garage bill!! Bus routes get done, but back roads get ignored. We use the back roads to get to the main bus routes. Or when bus route is closed (like Low Road is now), buses use the back roads. How many people need to report before it gets fixed? Or has someone got to suffer personal injury before it gets sorted? Think it's disgusting behaviour to leave roads in that state

I have written to Friskney Parish Council. The condition of those Two roads that lead out to the A52 is totally unacceptable. What is it going to take to get these roads fixed.? We could get our local MP involved perhaps.? Take this as an official complaint. We pay Council and Road Taxes for what exactly.?
