Highways have put a temporary cover over the missing manhole but completion is still outstanding. Residents are concerned about potential trip hazard.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

  • We are still waiting for the manhole cover to be replaced and for the road surface between this manhole and the railway bridge to be levelled out - how long does it take to do two simple jobs that involve safety?
