The road has collapsed even further into the dyke with the harvest traffic

Reported via desktop in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 10:42, Fri 12 August 2022

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 429336.

This already dangerously sunken road has collapsed even further into the dyke with the weight of the harvest traffic. This road needs immediate attention to make it fit and safe for winter conditions and has already been reported multiple times over the last 2 years. I will again contact Sir John Hayes regarding this abrogation of the Highways departments duty of maintenance and restricting the road to a safe weight limit.

  • This subsidence on the road has caused a puncture to my daughter's vehicle by destroying the tyre wall on her front wheel. The road is dangerous. A claim will be forthcoming.
