This area was flooded on Tuesday evening during the storm. The drains in this area have been blocked for some time. I have a report of blocked drains and gutters i would like to share with someone at highways, but cannot get through on the phone. Please call me on [number redacted].

Flooding again this morning - full width of the carriageway - both lanes. Have the works scheduled at the end of August been done or are they scheduled for 2025?

4 months later and no further forward. See attached photo of puddle where the blocked drain exists. No wonder properties get flooded if this is the response. Photo taken 22nd Dec 2022

I note that this flooding issue has already been reported, could you tell me if any action is being taken with this flooding issue please? There are road side drains on either side of the road that have been blocked for some time causing flooding from one side of the road to the other. Pedestrians have to wait for no traffic to be passing or be drenched in muddy water from head to toe! The problem used to occur during heavy rainfall but now floods at the slightest shower.

Still blocked. Still full of leaves and dirt like the footway and carriageway edge towards the roundabout.
Still no sign of the scheduled works or was the flooding sign the works?

Good morning, could you post your plan of action to deal with this flooding issue and a realistic timescale please? We had to endure months of road closures on Ramsgate Road while flood alleviation works took place to install catch tanks under the road surface. We are now faced with regular serious flooding in this location, almost on top of flood water catch tanks!

Drains are completely full of debris. How is the drain supposed to work when its full of debris.
Do you not respond to drains that are blocked and only clear them when they reach their cyclical schedule?
