Roadside adjacent to Liquorice Park

Reported via desktop in the Tree/hedge restricting available highway category anonymously at 10:13, Fri 26 August 2022

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 430453.

The tree in question has its trunk protruding into the road at about 66cm height. I was recently reversing on the right hand side of the road to move into an appropriate parking area. My car’s reverse camera did not show this to be a problem and my wing mirror did not show the tree in detail. As I reached the tree it caused damage to my car which is resulting in an insurance claim. The tree needs to be dealt with or clearly marked as a problem to traffic. From closer examination of the tree trunk I am not the first driver to have a problem. The issue is going to cost me £250 in insurance excess and I am not happy.
