Drains become overwhelmed when there is heavy rain. Previously reported over the last 5 years. Keep being fobbed off stating drains have been cleaned. Not issue with cleaning it is an outflow issue. I was previously informed that there was a problem with an outlet culvert and that it was going to be repaired back in January. This may seem like a minor problem, but when it floods cars speed through the flood, causing water to wash over our cars and it hits out front bay window which is 10 to 12 feet from the road. I work hard for the NHS and have been through the pandemic, my wife suffers with her nerves and this stressed her out, worrying about someone picking up a stone in the water and smashing a car window or our house window. We have to move our cars off the drive, due to the water being washed over them. Could this please be looked into as it is not resolved and is causing us stress and affecting our lives worrying every time it's rains. Last time I had to get up at 3am to move our cars and move the flood signs to slow people down. To his disrupted my day as I had to work a 10 hour shift looking after patients while exhausted because of the flooding. Hopefully you can help with this situation. Steve English
