Highway verge in the ‘Z’ bends on Kennel Lane near Manor Farm, Reepham
Reported via desktop in the Tree/hedge restricting available highway category anonymously at 10:28, Thu 1 September 2022
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 430795.
Reporting unsafe condition of at least one of the three willow trees at this location. One large branch has already fallen off, and cleared away by a resident, but another hangs over the verge and road and poses a risk to pedestrians and vehicles alike. All three willows merit inspection by LCC Highways. Please provide me with written reassurance that the dangerous tree(s) will either be immediately made safe, or confirm in writing that LCC do not consider that any of the three willows pose any risk to the public. With thanks.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. An officer has been to the location and made an initial site assessment and there is no immediate risk at this time. However, we will be consulting our tree expert to see if any future works are required. Thank you for reporting this matter.
