End of Cherry Tree Lane, Holbeach, near turning for sewage works
Reported via desktop in the Standing water covering more than half the road category anonymously at 17:41, Tue 6 September 2022
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 431131.
After rainfall the road becomes water logged making it very difficult to pass. This is the safe route for many children, pedestrians and cyclists from Boston Road North area to the underpass under the A17 to access Primary and Secondary schools. School children become muddy and wet before even getting to school. There is no pedestrian crossing over the A17, with the council previously advising this is the safe route. This has been a long standing issue and the road is likely to be water logged all autumn and winter.
