Large pot hole /groove on the road surface of Boston Road roundabout
Reported via desktop in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 19:38, Mon 12 September 2022
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 431519.
A large groove which is nearly the whole circumference of the road surrounding the Boston Road, A17 roundabout junction but particularly worse at the Boston road B1168 side. To inadvertently hit this damaged area whilst riding a motorcycle the risk of loss of control and/or injury to the rider is extremely likely. Indeed, hitting this groove in a car causes a momentarily loss of control but not as extreme as for motorcylists. The damaged area has been there for some considerable time but the depth of the groove is worsening. Due to the location and the volume of traffic I am unable to submit photographic evidence.
