Poor pothole repair - causing house to shake.
I'm again having to report this problem due to no action being taken. It would be really great if someone at the council took the time to read my report and advise.
As I've mentioned on the past reports the issue has been caused by a poorly repair pothole which is causing lorries or tractors with trailers to bounce. We can hear the vehicle passing and there is no movement until the house until the go over the repaired pothole. As they hit the poor repair there is a sudden bang followed by both shaking which is affecting Jazzgate, Shepherds Arms, Lowgate and Old Coach & Horses. There is a total of 4 properties with this issue.
We have had a few cracks appear on the building and looking at old photos on google maps etc these are new and have only appeared since the "bouncing" has started to occur.
I reached out to the local MP with no feasble response (I'm not surprised) and I will ensure I download all converastions and history of all events to ensure that if a report is ever made to our house insurance and they deem the issue due to poor road conditions they can invoice the council for the repairs.
What will it take to get action? I will sit outside and record videos of the trailers if needed and put myself at risk to finally get a resolution after months of arguing. It needs digging up and putting right.

Hi,
Can you please advise if highways have attended? We have not seen anyone and was hoping to have the chance to speak to them in person again.
Unfortunately we are still subject to constant banging where lorries are "bouncing" after hitting the road surface. I'd like them to attend so ourself and neighbours can explain it to them in person and they can catch for themself.
Many thanks.

Hi,
It has been over a month with no update, can someone please come back to me on this?
We are still having to deal with the constant shaking/noise caused by lorries/tractors hitting the poor repair.
I have been very kind throughout this process. As I've mentioned before, I will now put myself in HARMS way and sit on side of the A52 and record the lorries hitting the pothole. I will have artic lorries meters from me. Will you show any concern now? I bet not.
Please provide me with an update.
Many thanks.
Daniel.
