Growing number of severe potholes on stretch of A17 between Cranwell/Byards Lead and Rauceby turnings

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 432515.
Multiple potholes now line the road leading to cars swerving to avoid them and an increasing likelihood of a significant crash occuring.
They span the road along the A17 between where the recent Byrd's Leap roadworks finished and the Cranwell/Rauceby crossroad.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. A roads are inspected monthly and any intervention level defects are noted and actioned at this time. Also, our Asset Team (Technical Services Partnership) are looking at at major scheme for this area for future works. Thank you for reporting this matter.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
