End of Northons Lane
Reported via desktop in the Damaged/missing boundary markers category anonymously at 16:02, Wed 5 October 2022
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 433080.
The road is meant to be closed with no access to the A151 but someone has moved the blockage to gain access. Please can this be rectified as Northons Lane has become very dangerous with cars and vans going down at speeds of 40+mph. We need a more permenant solution put in place - i.e. no road at all as the road will not be reopened.

If you look at the design video on YouTube, Northon’s Lane is actually meant to be routed to connect to the roundabout but for whatever reason it was just left stubbed off, increasing the traffic on the main roads of Holbeach and the A17

This is incorrect, the design was changed when it was deemed that Northon’s Lane was unsuitable for through traffic. If this comment has been left by the Council, please can you speak with Tracey Carter who has since arranged for no through route sign posts to be erected. This will be a bike and pedestrian route so anyone going around the gate in a motor vehicle should be reminded of that!
