Drains not taking rain water
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 14:11, Sun 23 October 2022
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 434485.
We had three hours of rain and the corner outside numbers 17 / 19 / and 21 (the entire road) Mountbatten Avenue was flooded. This has been reported last time we had a downpour but nothing has been done. Looking at all drain in the area and none was taking any water. All water was just standing. This is now happening every time we have heavy rain.

A site inspection was carried out 24/10/22. We are sorry that we are not taking immediate action with this report. Our records show that the drains in this area were cleaned in the last year and were running well. In times of extreme weather even the most efficient systems can become overwhelmed. If the problem recurs in less extreme conditions please report this again. Thank you for reporting this matter.
