Every time bit rains the drain on outside of the road blocks and we get excess amounts of standing water. This has been going on for months. As you can see we have a massive issue with leaves this time of year also. But even in the summer the drain is blocked.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

Progress! We’ve completed our investigation and works are now planned. Once we know when work is due to take place we will let you know.

We have an update. Our highways team have issued this work out to one of their delivery gangs. We’ll let you know when the job is complete.

Still no better, the drains are obviously blocked and need attention.

After heavy rain again yesterday we are still left with standing water outside our property. The standing water is covering a grid which is blocked. I first reported this issue on the 24th October 2022. Thankyou
