Road severely sunken and falling away into ditch

Reported via mobile in the Damaged road edge, encroaches more than 100mm category anonymously at 14:23, Wed 26 October 2022

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 434851.

A lorry nearly went into the ditch down here the other day due to the road sinking away dangerously. You have fixed one section but the road needs major work as can be seen in the picture

  • This cannot be blamed on drought damage, it has been sinking for years, like the coast road, stain lane and the eventually-fixed three bridge lane. Lack of maintainance on lccs behalf is to be blamed.
