Flood damaged footpath/road

Reported via iOS in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 19:44, Fri 28 October 2022

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 435095.

The footpaths along Lindholme have the top coat of tarmac missing and are really uneven in places along with the road. The road has already been temporarily repaired to a number of potholes but more have now appeared. It is in the worst condition in Scotter having not been repaired since the flood in 2019. Elderly residents find it very difficult with the rough uneven surface on footpath. It has already been reported for refuse lorry to drive over the footpath and it put a large dent with the weight. This is a regular occurrence

  • We are still waiting for a reply from highways. I have checked back and after it has been raining we are have large areas of standing water which cannot go down the drains due to the road being uneven. This issue is getting urgent as the footpaths are very uneven and potholes are again appearing in the road even though the council supposedly patched up earlier this year. Please make this a urgent review as elderly members of the public use the footpaths and large lorries i.e. refuse cut corners and ride the footpath and kerbs.

  • I reported this problem last year. Nothing has been done and with all the wet weather and neighbours has large aggregate lorries coming and going the road is being beyond just a repair. Why has this issue not been dealt with when Orchard Avenue in Scotter only had a few surface holes not even deep and they have been repaired. No one from highways has been to inspect this issue which is now urgent.
