Saturday November 12th. There is still flood water across the road - causing a potential risk to road users. The roadside drain and gully at the point highlighted in the photo by the brush - located at three words questions:path:salon The debris on the pavement is the fillings from a pothole mended recently. It is obscured by the water and is approximately 1m diameter and at least 40 mm deep. The pavement is also cracking up under the strain of the flood water creating an uneven surface.
Both the pot hole and uneven pavement/cycle way are a particular danger for cyclists - especially when covered with water.- not a good thing considering that Linwood Road is on a National Cycle Route ..

This week my children couldn’t walk towards Linwood from Market Rasen because of the standing water - there was no where to safely walk as they were either in water on the pavement with cars speeding past soaking them or still knee deep in water on the road trying to get through before cars came.

The problem persists. The water is now causing the recently laid surface to break up. There is also at least one large pot hole under the water by a drain grid I believe. Something urgent needs to be done urgently! S

The road is now a Health and Safety issue. there is a large pot hole appearing under the water. a small sign indicates Flooding which can easily be missed if not local to area. its dangerous. the dikes need clearing out either side which would help. the water is coming from field. please help. thank you

This is a danger for vehicles and extremely dangerous for pedestrians. With vehicles travelling at 60mph if your are trying to walk you can’t see the path/kerb/grass edge and get saturated by passing cars both ways. A car travelling towards Linwood mounted the pavement to avoid an oncoming car and the pothole but hadn’t seen the pedestrian walking until the last moment because of the bend & had to swerve back onto the road - something has to be done. Can a temporary/permanent reduced speed limit be put in place?

This needs urgent attention before a serious accident happens , pedestrians cannot safely walk past without being soaked through we cannot use the pavement & wouldn't drive through anymore due to the large potholes appearing due to the road being permanently under water!!!

Over two months and nothing has been done to solve this issue by Lincoln council. The water is constantly there making it only passable with one way traffic. The road is now not only flooded but also had broken up leaving large pot holes with the only warning being a small "flood" sign. The pavement is not useable for pedestrians or cyclist, it is an accident waiting to happen!!! If this is had been sorted out back in October 2022, I am sure the cost would have been considerably less than it will be now!!!!

The road is getting dangerous as cars are going in the middle of the road to avoid the holes and oncoming traffic are coming round the corner too fast even though it is a 30 mile limit! This needs to be sorted out pronto!!!

This isn’t fixed! One side of the road is still flooded and the other side hasn’t any road surface on it!

This part of the road is still dangerous!!! I drive over nearly every day and drivers are swerving to avoid it, some go fast into the puddle of water side splashing on coming traffic and the depressions in road are becoming larger due to rain, heavy lorries etc and I dread to think what the road would do to the steering of a motorbike!! Please sort it before someone gets injured or a fatality occurs!

This has been an issue since October 2022. The road is not only permanently flooded but has no surface and is full of potholes which after heavy rainfall can't be seen. The path is muddy and often impassable which means pedestrians are at risk. Will this only be fixed after an accident has happened??
