Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 436118.
Build up of silt has caused drain to become blocked and when it rains the Curtis Bakery shop is flooded. This has been a problem for a long time and has been reported before. Several of the drains all along the High Street are blocked. Some of them have grass growing out of them.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

The drain is still full of silt as are several others in Southgate. When are these going to be unblocked please?
