Blocked drain to culvert under road to ditch
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 21:49, Wed 9 November 2022
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 436384.
The drain is covered with grass soil and no longer visible. Therefore no water enters the culvert under the road but instead goes across the road and continues to erode the verge. The ironworks of the road are now exposed and there is no verge in places at the bottom of a hill, on a bend with no street lighting. This was reported last year as an issue with an eroded verge but not as a drainage issue. I believe the drainage issue is the cause of the erosion of the verge.
