Outside Belvoir, Northgate, Sleaford, Both Drains

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 437177.

Both of the drains outside unit 71 and 71B are overflowing due to blockages. Customer has stated that the drain on the highways is causing the drain on the footpath to be blocked as well.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

    This is still a major problem and as far as we are aware has not been looked at. The area is now also collecting all the rubbish into it as well.

    This problem still has not been fixed. Although reported again on 29 March and spoken to someone who advised they would try and get this escalated and speak to their supervisor.

    This blockage is forcing water onto the pavement and damaging properties. If pavements were regularly sweep and kept clear of leaves in autumn we wouldn't see this problem. Its also unsitely in dry weather. We need to be proactive with this and clear/sweep the area each autumn.

    If this amount of rain continues over the weekend the paths and possibly premises will be flooding. Reported 5 months ago now and still nothing done despite phone calls in between.
