The entire length of cycle path along Doddington Road from Tritton Road to Pershore Way

This cycle path is not fit for purpose. It is so dangerous that I now feel safer cycling on the road. Last week I saw a woman knocked off her scooter by a bike and I have experienced countless near misses myself on my daily cycle commute. From the railway crossing to Pershore way the path is too narrow to comfortably allow 2 bikes travelling in the opposite direction to pass while maintaining any speed at all. The curves as you approach junctions are dangerous as cyclists are already engaged in watching for both car and bike traffic from all directions so facing a curved kerb to rejoin the cycle way is an extra hazard - particularly at night and when they are covered in leaves. The surface of the cycleway is deep in wet, slippery leaves and debris at multiple points (the long-standing deep puddle by the crossing I understand is scheduled for repair…..but there is another equally deep one further up). From Tritton Road to the railway crossing the surface is shocking - the multiple driveways and failed joins in tarmac patches lead to an extremely bumpy and dangerous ride. Finally, the turn from Doddington Road onto Tritton Road is too narrow to be ridden round safely - especially if there are pedestrians using the footpath. The Tritton Road cycle path on the other hand is fine. Please think about making the Doddington Road one more like that so that the many people who use it daily can arrive at their destination safely.
