Photo's of Drains on Casterton Road between Torkington Street and Sutherland Way, heading north out of Stamford
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 438058.
This was reported last week in heavy rain and the case was closed yesterday. Today in dry conditions I have taken photo's for you. The drains are blocked.
See below the conclusion from the last reporting, clearly they have become blocked since they were last inspected.
Thank you for looking into this. I imagine the problem persists further up the Casterton Road, but I haven't walked that far

Why have we closed this report? We cleaned this areas drains in the last year and our last inspection showed that they are working well. It’s worth noting though that at times of extreme weather even well-maintained drains like these can be overwhelmed. If the problem happens again but in less extreme conditions then please report this to us and we will investigate the issue again. Thank you for reporting this matter.
