Outside Lynton (house name) opposite Linden way.
Reported via mobile in the Flowing water, life or property at risk category anonymously at 09:46, Sat 26 November 2022
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 438343.
Water collects the length of the verge, at the end of the verge the water runs off directly into my garden because the kerbs have been dropped directing the water to my house. This has been happening for many yrs. To the point my garden floods and enters my home. I am concerned regarding structural damage of excess water around my foundations. I have reported this last yr but nothing has been done. There are two drains either end of my property on the path due to the fact our property islower than the road but such is the level of the road the water never gets to the drains but accumulates outside on the road until it overflows into our property. Because there is no kerbs all water from the road/pavement drain off into my property, my house is located close to the pavement meaning we end up flooded each time it rains.

This is the fourth time reporting this issue, finally two men from the council? came to see the problem early this yr and agreed there was a problem regarding the amount of water coming off the road & entering our property. Despite discussing with them regarding a short term fix to direct said water to take the water to the drain nothing has been done. At what point of erosion of our foundations/property will the council/ highways dept act.
