Directly outside 10 Holmes Road Kirton End

Reported via desktop in the Manhole/drain cover on road/cycleway category anonymously at 20:34, Tue 29 November 2022

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 438722.

This drain cover was broken by the drain cleaning team in September when it was hit with a sledge hammer to replace it. A road cone was then placed on top of it but this keeps being run over by traffic as it’s on a slight bend on a narrow road. I keep putting it back together but worried it will cause an accident.

  • The cone that was protecting the broken drain cover has been removed, possibly by the workmen removing signs for the recent roadworks at the junction
