Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

Very disappointed that nothing appears to have happened here yet. I have to use a mobility scooter and the pavement is so uneven it makes the scooter lurch from side to side and it feels very unstable and unsafe. Can you please provide an update?

I have still not received any further update to this report which I first made in January 2023 when you told me that the Highways Officers were looking into what could be done.
With the darker nights now I feel so unsafe using this piece of pavement and nearly toppled off my scooter the other day. To be honest the area around the bus stop on the opposite side of the road is not much better although at least there is not such a major angle on that side of the road to make matters even worse as there is here.
I look forward to receiving your urgent update.

We're sending you this message to let you know that we've assessed the footway condition and at this time it does not require urgent repair. However we have identified this location for a larger scale improvement scheme. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the County footway network and the resources available to us each year. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway in the meantime. Thank you for reporting this matter.
