Path on Fen Lane outside property The Chestnuts

Reported via desktop in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 11:14, Sun 8 January 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 442698.

The work to clear the pathway of moss / leaves (an earlier noted problem) has been done. However, during this work the top layer of tarmac has been lifted in places , creating a potential trip hazard, the lifted tarmac has been just dumped onto the property’s grass verge. This debris should not have been dumped on the grass verge, it should have been cleared and taken away by those undertaking the work as was done elsewhere along Fen Lane. The debris will create a hazard when the verge is mown with potential damage to property(lawnmower) and people. The debris has also buried the water meter point that is within the grass verge making it inaccessible. The debris need to be cleared from the area. The footpath needs to be assessed.
