Road running from A16 past Staunch Farm PE22 8DP badly uneven

Reported via desktop in the Uneven surface category by Sarah HARLEY at 23:01, Sunday 8 January 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 442797.

Road running from A16 past Staunch Farm PE22 8DP is badly uneven due to big trucks using it. The road is not suitable for such traffic which is causing deep clefts either side of the narrow road and a high hump to form in the middle road. This is dangerous for car drivers travelling along the road.

  • Thank you for sending in your request. You’ll need a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) for what you have requested. To get one you need to contact your Parish/Town council. If the Parish/Town council support your request, they can then contact their County Councillor who will get the TRO actioned. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action

  • Thanks for your update but I don’t understand why I, as a member of the public, need to get a Traffic Regulation Order for this work - surely that should be the responsibility of the relevant department/contractor if/when the work is deemed necessary? In addition I do not live in the relevant area (was visiting a friend) so have no connection with the relevant Parish/Town Council.
