Reported via desktop in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 14:20, Saturday 21 January 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 445117.
The entire length of Boundary Lane from Newark Road to Long Lane is in a very poor state of repair with numerous potholes in the road both along verge side and carriageway. This road is used by many HGV a vehicles now as well as cars motor-cycles and cyclists. The road requires full investigation followed by resurfacing work urgently.

The condition of this road is deteriorating regularly and repeatedly with significantly sized potholes, eroding edges and general cracking. The road appears insufficient to support the scale of commercial vehicles that regularly traverse its length. There are industrial business users along the road that are adding wear and tear to the small B road. At best there will be damage being inflicted on road users either through debris being 'kicked up' to other users or colliding with deep potholes. At worst the need to swerve to avoid damage is going to end in a serious collision, the scale of which I dread to think. In my opinion, and that I understand to be of many locals too, is that this road is in need of repair in the short term but also suitability checked for the commercial use it is subjected to, that currently it is simply not able to sustain.
