Hi Please can I also make you aware that although the edge stone is not loose it is starting to get raised and the cap and cracks wider, lots of people walk over it as a cut through when walking their dogs. What ever you decide whether to repair it or not I have made you aware of the health and safety implications. The driveway has always been maintained by the County Council and was resurfaced 5 years ago. Thank you Kind regards David Pattison.

Further to my report 2 weeks ago I can now confirm that since the issue was reported it has become I creasingly worse to the point that the edging stones are now very loose and are moving. It has also become a trip hazard and I myself have triped on it when taking my dog out for a walk. This is a health and safety issue. The reason I think it wasn't loose when inspected was because the ground was frozen.
