Reported via mobile in the Severe loss of chippings category anonymously at 18:18, Sat 28 January 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 446131.
The 150 m of road surface on the hill of the ingoldsby road as it descents to the Irnham junction is falling apart, and has been getting worse for 3 months. The surface is falling off and major potholes. Patched repairs last year are also failing.

Repair work,if that is what it can be called,is of such poor workmanship that it beggars belief. If the quality of workmanship and a degree of professionalism in your employees was addressed, constant re-repairing of the roads would not be required. Motorists are expected to accept your failures, the continual damage of vehicles, yet year on year you demand increases in local taxation. The maxim,if a job is worth doing do it well, should be a logo on your vehicles, because Highway Maintenance is just laughable. Come and inspect this abysmal 'repair', I will await your findings.

An immediate response to the original report, total silence a week later following criticism. Question- do the repair crews have such a thing as a whacker plate, or do they still run over the repair with their own vehicle? Answers on a postcard please.
