  • A site inspection was carried out on 22/02/23 at 12.25, the carriageway was clear with no standing water. We cleaned this areas drains in the last year and our last inspection showed that they are working well. It’s worth noting though that at times of extreme weather even well-maintained drains like these can be overwhelmed. If the problem happens again but in less extreme conditions then please report this to us and we will investigate the issue again. Thank you for reporting this matter.

  • Customer has stated that the road has been re-tarmacked a numerous amount of times to where the road does not lead the water to the drain, the road now has a large bump in the road which is causing the water to flow into nearby properties. - This isn't a drainage issue, it's a surface water problem with the road not directly water to the drains.
