Rocks adjacent to highway
Reported via iOS in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 08:06, Thu 23 February 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 448908.
There are a number of rocks here adjacent to the highway. They should not be within the 1 metre road edge. It is difficult to pass other vehicles here on what is the main road into the village. Deep potholes on the other side mean people will not move across. At night it is impossible to see them.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

A quick note to let you know that we’re taking enforcement action. This type of action can take a long time to complete so whilst it might not look like we’re working on the issue, we’re being busy behind the scenes. Thanks for your patience. As this progresses, we’ll update you when we can.

Hi I note you are taking enforcement action which can be quite difficult. However the case is saying status CLOSED. As an update I walk this road every day and often have to step onto the verge in front of Hedwig House if a lorry or bus comes past me. The other week I had to step out of the way quickly as a vehicle was going way to fast and tripped over one of the large rocks he has on the roadside hurting my knee and hand. Nothing too serious but it did hurt and was embarrassing. An you advise me of the current situation in respect of the enforcement action.
