Reported via desktop in the Damaged dyke, ditch or culvert category by Philip Cunningham at 09:51, Mon 27 February 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 449265.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to report a damaged drain going under the road on Toynton Lane, which is causing flooding on our field. We have been experiencing severe flooding on our property due to the damaged drain, which has rendered a portion of our land unusable.
We have noticed that the drain under the road appears to be broken or blocked, causing water to overflow onto our field. This issue has been ongoing for several weeks, and we have tried to address the issue ourselves, but to no avail.
I kindly request that you take immediate action to repair or replace the damaged drain as soon as possible. The condition of the drain is deteriorating rapidly, and the flooding has become a significant problem.
We would appreciate it if you could dispatch a team of professionals to assess the situation and take the necessary steps to repair the drain. It is imperative to address this issue promptly to prevent further damage to our property.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require any further information.
Yours faithfully, Philip Cunningham
