Blocked drain outside norpol / spire windows

Reported via mobile in the Blocked drain category by Fixar Rhodes at 09:11, Wed 1 March 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 449494.

Drains before and after this blocked drain are working fine. This drain is also on the slant which is not causing the problem but will not help with it.

  • Why have we closed this report? We cleaned this areas drains in the last year and our last inspection showed that they are working well. It’s worth noting though that at times of extreme weather even well-maintained drains like these can be overwhelmed. If the problem happens again but in less extreme conditions then please report this to us and we will investigate the issue again. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action

  • Did this precise drain get cleaned? As every time it rains (surely not excessive every time it rains?) It overflows. Like lots of blocked drains around the area.

  • This has been cleaned by flowline today, so let's see if this has rectified it. Strange how you only apparently cleaned it just over a year ago?
