On driveway to No 23 Edwin Gardens

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 450238.

This is the complaint I sent to SKDC but have now found out that the lamp-post belongs to LCC: There is an access driveway to my house and last week the lamp-post was replaced - but the new one has been put on the driveway and not where the old one was located (a couple of feet away and off of the driveway). I am having to tell regular visitors to be careful not to hit it when turning into the drive. It wouldn't be so bad if it were the only problem but last year the (beautiful) old stone walls were removed by Balfour Beatty 'as a service to the council' and replaced with concrete coping stones (which are a mess and have been falling off all the way up the road since day 1). These stones have been laid with an 'elbow' so now to go down the drive I have to avoid the elbow pointing out on the right then avoid the lamp-post on the left - with my car bleeping at me for going close. This used to be a straight drive out, no problem, with plenty of room. I am also concerned that delivery vehicles will refuse to drive up to my house in future. Update today : The council refuse lorry can reverse up the drive but driving back it got jammed on the rocks and either made contact with the lamp-post or had to stop so the passenger could pull the mirrors in so they could pass it. Whatever – this is a newly created problem that needs to be sorted out before I need a delivery truck with a sole driver to be able to get to my house.
