Road opposite low level area of garden at the Warren

Reported via desktop in the Standing water covering more than half the road category anonymously at 18:47, Friday 10 March 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 450578.

Large puddle forms that can reach half way across the rod; this then soaks through the verge and floods the garden (which is approx 1m below road level) making it impossible to walk or do any gardening. This happens every time it rains heavy. I have installed a land drain in the garden but this doesn't stop the water from draining into the garden. When a vehicle passes a large wave of water sprays over the fence and makes the matter worse. The puddle has slowly got worse and bigger.

  • It is now getting worse, half way across the road and almost full length of garden. Photos taken yesterday and cars going through it flooded the garden. Simple solution, put a gulley in the verge and run an underground pipe along the verge and into the ditch.

  • After heavy rain, the road is flooded across the full width; garden now becoming flooded, especially when a car drives through it and the water goes over the fence into the garden
