Leylandii Hedge Front of 10 Chapel Lane
Reported via desktop in the Tree/hedge restricting available highway category anonymously at 17:11, Sun 12 March 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 450768.
The Leylandi Hedge at the front of 10 Chapel Lane North Hykeham has been allowed to grow over the verge and now in roaches onto the roadway. The Hedge has grooves that have been formed by Wing Mirrors along its length. The Hedge is clearly shown restricting the carriageway when looking down on the lane from Google Maps. Also when using Google Street View. It is also clear how narrow Chapel lane is outside No 10, We have witnessed Busses and lorries realigning mirrors after they have misjudged the road and have hit the Hedge. Today 12 March 23 The hedge has been hit again forcing a branch to stick a further 22—30cm further into the roadway.

Reported the issue, 12 of March 2023 my normal transport is an adapted Renault Master Mini Bus going past this particular stretch of Chapel Lane outside no 10 is very difficult especially when a large vehicle is coming towards you. Once again although the council have said the work is out to be done The Hedge has yet to be cut back to the verge
