Farm entrance opposite Post Office Cottage

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 450830.

Water coming out of drain gulley onto road and with snow and heavy rain over the weekend water came out of ditch. Water then ran down the road towards the pub before going into the next gulley. underground pipe work maybe blocked in that area.

  • Why have we closed this report? We cleaned this areas drains in the last year and our last inspection showed that they are working well. It’s worth noting though that at times of extreme weather even well-maintained drains like these can be overwhelmed. If the problem happens again but in less extreme conditions then please report this to us and we will investigate the issue again. Thank you for reporting this matter.

    Friday 31st March water still coming out of the top of this gully after the morning’s rain. Obviously still a blockage somewhere in the pipe.
