Wainfleet St Mary lay by on A52 noxious weeds

Reported via mobile in the Noxious weeds category anonymously at 11:00, Thursday 16 March 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 451360.

Discussed with East Lindsey Council and local housing association, they have always informed me that its the highways responsibility. Would be grateful if someone could take responsibility, if not atleast some proof to back why their are your not responsible. Picture from Google maps taken six months ago.

Kind regards, Nathaniel Brice 12 St Edmunds Close

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because this vegetation is not currently obstructing the footway, it is growing at the edge of the footway in a narrow verge and is not a hazard to pedestrians or road users. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our regular inspection process to ensure the safety of highway users. No action required at this time. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action
