Junction of St Michael's Lane and Queen's Estate in Wainfleet St Mary

Reported via desktop in the Tree/hedge restricting available highway category anonymously at 16:20, Friday 17 March 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 451612.

An old apple tree is causing an obstruction in the Autumn as the apples fall onto the highway as vehicles try to avoid driving over the fallen fruit. Is it possible to prune the tree back so the branches do not overhang the highway and the path - some of the fruit lands on the pavements which can cause a slip hazard.- - it is very old and it would be nice to keep it but just trimmed back so there is less fruit to cause problems in August/September
