A16 between Spalding and Crowland, North and Southbound

Reported via mobile in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 13:04, Saturday 18 March 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 451700.

Throughout the whole stretch of the A16 between Spalding (Applegreen) roundabout and Crowland roundabout, there is a large number of potholes of varying size. For a road where there is a large volume of traffic, and where the road is 60mph, this is going to cause an accident. Cars are swerving to avoid the potholes to prevent damage to their cars. Driving in the dark on this road is an even bigger hazard due to not seeing the potholes until it is too late. This issue has got worse over the last 5 or 6 weeks, and I don't feel the road is safe. If our cars need to be safe for the road, then the road needs to be safe for our cars.
