Throughout the whole stretch of the A16 between Spalding (Applegreen) roundabout and Crowland roundabout, there is a large number of potholes of varying size. For a road where there is a large volume of traffic, and where the road is 60mph, this is going to cause an accident. Cars are swerving to avoid the potholes to prevent damage to their cars. Driving in the dark on this road is an even bigger hazard due to not seeing the potholes until it is too late. This issue has got worse over the last 5 or 6 weeks, and I don't feel the road is safe. If our cars need to be safe for the road, then the road needs to be safe for our cars.
Thanks for letting us know about your issue with a pothole on the road or cycleway. We will look into this and let you know what we find within the next 14 days. You can find out more about potholes on our website
