Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 452115.
Two of the open type of drains are blocked causing flooding outside my property which is making it difficult to access the house and my car parked outside. I spoke to Anglian Water and they advised me it is the responsibility of LCC. This is an on-going issue but is getting worse.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

Progress! We’ve completed our investigation and works are now planned. Once we know when work is due to take place we will let you know.

Why have we closed this report? We cleaned this areas drains in the last year and our last inspection showed that they are working well. It’s worth noting though that at times of extreme weather even well-maintained drains like these can be overwhelmed. If the problem happens again but in less extreme conditions then please report this to us and we will investigate the issue again. Thank you for reporting this matter.

We have an update. Our highways team have issued this work out to one of their delivery gangs. We’ll let you know when the job is complete.
